Directions to the Flick

From ways north…

            Take Highway 71 South to the Anderson/Goodman exit (Hwy 59). Hang a right at the end of the ramp, and follow 59 South into the heart of Anderson. Turn right at the first (and only) traffic light that you see. You will go around a few sharp curves, and underneath a railroad bridge. After one more sharp curve, you will see a Community Bank and Trust on the left side of the road. This building is on the corner of Main Street. Take a left onto Main, and after the railroad tracks, you will see the Flick Theater, immediately on the left side. Find a place to park, and enjoy the movie!

From ways south…

            Take I-540 North. After crossing the state line into Missouri, you will be traveling on Highway 71 through Jane and Pineville. As you leave behind the metropolis of Pineville (and it’s one traffic light), you will drive up a large hill, and at the top will be the beginnings of a new interchange (still under construction). Turn left at this interchange onto Highway EE. Follow this through the scenic hills and dales, until you arrive in Lanagan. The highway will come to a T intersection, where you will turn right. You are now on Hwy 59. When you reach the Anderson city limits you’ll pass a Town and Country grocery store. Go a little further and you’ll pass the City Park. You’ll see a Community Bank and Trust on the right side of a road. That road will be Main Street, on which you will take a right. Follow it down and cross the tracks. There will be a theatre on the left side and that would be the Flick!

From Sulphur Springs, Arkansas

you take Hwy. 59 N. When you enter Noel, take a right at the second bridge and keep following the road. Go through the picturesque eye blink town of Ginger Blue. Repeat action through Lanagan. Soon you’ll be in Andersen. When you reach the city limits you’ll pass a Town and Country grocery store. Go a little further and you’ll pass the City Park. You’ll see a Community Bank and Trust on the right side of a road. That road will be Main Street, on which you will take a right. Follow it down and cross the tracks. There will be a theatre on the left side and that would be the Flick!

It certainly has been a trip and a half for Battle Line and everyone involved. When we first started contemplating the project, we had no idea what was in store. Now the first monumental river has been crossed, and we want to share it with you. The proceeds from this premiere will help enable us to attend the San Antonio Christian Film Festival (http://www.independentchristianfilms.com) where the young members will learn more about the intricate art of film making. A copy of the movie will be available to anyone that would like to help sponsor our trip.

Daily Bread follows Sophie Robbins as she struggles with grief for her father’s death. In a search for some kind of solace, Sophie finds Jessica, whose frantic lifestyle provides the perfect escape. Trouble starts when Sophie’s mother comes home from another one of her long trips that have become more and more frequent lately. What Sophie doesn’t realize is that she and her mother are feeling the same pain. In addition to the storyline, woven in throughout the movie is a commentary by the director, describing the struggles of the main character, and the struggle of the filming crew as we tried to bring her story to life.

Sincere thanks from everyone at Battleline Studios

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger;

and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. –John 6:35
